Introduction
A nation's progress is dependent on its Human Resource and its Development. The most important ingredient of Human Resource Development is formal education. Though the educational institutions are doing their best, there is still a lot of scope for improvement. Good education is something still beyond the reach of children belonging to economically weaker sections of the society.
The children must be encouraged to spend a reasonable part of the time at home for learning. The children are not able to concentrate, as there are several distractions even inside the four walls of their own house. Parents do not have much time for children. A few Civic Exnoras can jointly start Exnora Tuition Centers with the permission of their Parent Exnora Innovators' Club where the students can assemble in the mornings or evening, (subject wise or class wise) who can be provided tuition free of cost or against a nominal fee. They can be encouraged to do combined study. There are so many retired men and educated housewives with outstanding academic qualifications and experience with a lot of leisure having the desire to do something good. Civic Exnoras can enroll these qualified persons as guest faculty. (They can be paid a small honorarium too). Exnora Tuition Centers have to be started in every slum, as the need for this service is much higher there.
The assembly of children and youth at a particular place i.e. the Exnora Tuition Centre can be used as an opportunity to provide them moral inputs, patriotic feelings and environmental consciousness. This is a golden opportunity to make use of the unutilized talents of the elders for the development and up bringing of the children.

THE GOAL
Giving quality education to less privileged children through tuition in order to help them in their overall development, equip them to face competition and make them worthier citizens of tomorrow.
THE BACKGROUND
The Children belonging to economically weaker sections of society have a very less opportunity of going to school. And even those who go to school don't excel in education due to several reasons. One of the important reasons for their low marks is that they don't have the atmosphere as well as facilities in the home. They have too many distractions at home. All these things lead to de-motivation. If they are only brought to a place having better environment and guided as well as motivated by a teacher, it will make a world of difference. When they study together with other children the motivation level goes up.
Exnora already is having a number of tuition centers and has decided to reach its teachers to as many places as feasible (mostly slum areas). Exnora has its organizational advantage. There are more than 30000 Civic Exnoras in various streets and localities in Tamil Nadu. Each Civic Exnora or a group of Civic Exnoras (Exnora Innovators Club) can easily start and run a Teach Reach - Exnora Tuition Center for slum children in their area.
