The important function under this programme will first be to employ a Home Beautifier who will perform the following activities:

HOME BEAUTIFIER'S DUTIES

• Composting organic waste
• Collection and disposal of recyclables
• Treatment of sewage water as garden water
• Home farming which includes terrace gardening/sky farming
• Optionally home front gardening
• Additionally/optionally home cleaning through vacuum cleaner

HOUSE OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES

• The cost of infrastructure for Zero Garbage, Zero Sewage and Sky Farming will be borne by the house owner.
• Kitchen garden will be created in around the house and on the terrace by the house owner. He can engage the service of a regular gardener and pay separately for that
• The cost of seeds, seedlings, pots, pesticides, fence etc will be borne by the house owner
• If the house owner wants to maintain home front garden this can also be entrusted to the home beautifier at extra cost.

THE HOME BEAUTIFIER'S ENTITLEMENTS

The youth or woman will be designated as HOME-BEAUTIFIER and he/she will be entrusted with not more than 20 homes.

The Home Beautifier will work for half an hour alternate days. In other words in a day, he/she will work in 10 houses.

The HOME-BEAUTIFIER will be paid a minimum of Rs.100/- which will go up to any amount depending upon the volume of work, size of the area and time to be spent by the HOME-BEAUTIFIER

The HOME-BEAUTIFIER will take the other wastes like paper, plastic, metal, glass free of cost, which will be sold to a SCRAP SHOP.

Woman and youth will be employed by Civic Exnoras and designated as 'Home Beautifier'. They will visit the members' home and carryout home composting, home wastewater treatment and home farming. They will be paid monthly for each of the work.
